With the postal dispute still unresolved and delivery concerns still very much at the forefront of customer’s minds, we’ve opted to promote the fact that our next day deliveries are not subject to Royal Mail industrial action. Strike or no strike, we can still deliver, next day!

We have outsourced fulfilment to a dedicated facility run by a separate business, who mail on behalf of several other gift and gadget retailers, as well as the broadband ISPs. As such, their individual customers (like us) benefit from their collective bargaining power. Power that sees our mail collected by Royal Mail even during the strikes!

As Christmas approaches and parcel volumes skyrocket, couriers are going to find it more and more difficult to take up the slack provided by Royal Mail strike days. They might even have to start saying “no” to customers. And, let’s face it, they’re going to be letting down the smaller customers first. That’s business!

Indeed, some couriers are already turning away new business. In this situation, being part of a big customer (as we are) is a very good place to be.
